About us
All Share & Care participants work on a voluntary basis. No one
is paid for their input.
Many participants in the group initially collected and sent clothing
and medical supplies directly to Sri Lanka, as well as contributing
financially as individuals. They then realised they could achieve much
more working together.
As a result, Share & Care was set up in January 2005 and is registered in the UK as a Non Profit Company. (Registration No. 05401391)

- Sagara Palliyage (Managing Director), podiatrist
- Srinath Wettasinghe (Treasurer), electrical engineer, sales executive
- Shantha Perera (Director/Project Co-ordinator), director of Sapath IT
Individual members of the group are responsible for specific projects, funding events, trauma counselling, publicity and website.
